What is your favorite trick/training tool you taught your cat or dog?
Teaching my cat, Murray how to use the toilet. It took about 3 months of training total. When Murray was a kitten, I started off by introducing the toilet seat on top of his litter box and steadily increased the height and slowly added water.
What was your first pet?
My first family pet was a dog. She was a Samoyed and my family already had her before I was born. As far as my own pets, I got my first Guinea pig when I was 6 and I got my first dog of my own when I was 26. She was a Borzoi.
What pets do you have in your home currently?
One dog, Roxie, a Silken Windhound, two cats (Murray and Charlie), and one Guinea Pig.
What is one thing no one might now about you?
She sang at her friend’s wedding. Took singing lessons to prepare for singing in front of an audience.
Who makes up your household?
My husband and three kids (the oldest is 15 and the twins are 12).
Stranded on an island with your family, what 5 things would you wish you brought with you?
- My dog

- Never ending supply of seltzer water

If you could choose a superpower what would it be and why?
I think I might like super strength. It would be very useful for things like opening jars or opening packages without scissors.

Thursday. It means the weekend is almost here!

Fall.
What is your favorite holiday?
Halloween.

What’s your favorite thing about working for Platinum Paws Pet Services?
Oh, gosh! I love to meet different animals and I like having them get to know me, too. It’s fun to create a relationship with the pets you know, and they get excited to see you. I like that. I’m on my own, it’s you know it’s just me and the critters I like that so I can talk to them and feeling silly.
Yeah, I’m sorry I like, the autonomy of it, and I like to critters, and I like the support of it, too, cause somebody somebody had asked me, You know. Well, why don’t you just do pets sitting on your own like? Why work for somebody else, and I said Well, just I just think it’s a great support system and it’s a team effort. If I am busy another employee can take the visit for me. Then, we have you as our mother hen and I love the app it’s just all I feel I like working with the group. Your company, and just I don’t know just it feels secure and supported.
